Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist on Staff

Dr. Taylor employs the expertise of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for procedures provided under sedation. A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist has a bachelor's degree in nursing, followed by specialized training in anesthesia. Nurse anesthetists are required to pass a national certification examination to become CRNAs.

If you select conscious sedation, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will administer the anesthetic and monitor your body's response throughout the procedure. Every important function of your body is being closely observed by the CRNA and the anesthetic is modified as needed to ensure your safety and comfort.

This cooperative alliance allows Dr. Taylor to completely focus on the procedure knowing your safety and comfort are being closely monitored and maintained by the CRNA.
