Ryan C. Taylor, D.D.S., M.S.

With a passion for clinical excellence and a vision of exceptional patient care, Dr.Taylor established his practice in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Sarasota, Florida in 2004.  His mission is to help his patients desire, achieve, and maintain optimum oral health.

Dr. Taylor received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Bowling Green State University.  He continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he earned his Master in Science, Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Periodontal training.  An avid golfer, he also participated on the college golf team and received the Merit Award for Athletic Scholar.

Dr. Taylor is an active member in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Academyof Implant Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration and the Academy of Oral Implantology. He is also a member in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association and Sarasota County Dental Association.

Dr. Taylor and his wife, Karen, live on Siesta Key and have recently become the parents of a beautiful baby boy.

Kathleen Beyne, RDH
Implant Treatment Coordinator

As implant coordinator, Kathleen is responsible for welcoming new patients into the practice and answering their questions about dental care.

Kathleen listens intently and is well able to answer your questions about periodontal disease, dental decay, treatment options, and all aspects of dental disease and health. She understands that some patients fear dental treatment, and provides reassurance with her practical and logical explanations. Kathleen assists the doctor during the initial examination, making sure each new patient is comfortable and satisfied with that all-important first visit.

A graduate of Edison College Dental Hygiene Program, Kathleen received the Golden Scaler Award, and was Valedictorian of her graduating class. Kathleen is enthusiastic about her profession and deeply cares about her patients' dental health. Her thorough understanding of periodontal disease and its contributing factors assures that our patients receive the education and treatment needed for optimum gum and dental health. Patients really appreciate Kathleen's confidence and knowledge in dentistry, and her gentle touch.

Diane Strutt, RDH
Dental Hygienist

Diane graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988 and has practiced in general dentistry, high-end cosmetic dentistry and periodontics.  Through her experience, Diane has developed a deep understanding of the value of good oral hygiene as the foundation for long-term oral health.  Her primary responsibility is helping patients maintain optimal oral health.  She ensures each patient receives a thorough, yet gentle, periodontal maintenance cleaning and assists them in the use of the most current home care products.  Patients agree Diane helps them achieve and maintain excellence in oral hygiene. 

Michelle Brimingham RDA
Office Coordinator

Michelle is native to Sarasota and is happily married with three children. She graduated from the US Navy Dental Apprentice School in 1999.

Michelle enjoys the dental profession and has her experience from years of assisting in general dentistry. As scheduling coordinator, she will be able to assist you in scheduling an appointment with your wants and needs at hand. Michelle will always ensure patient comfort throughout your visit to our office.

Maria Hutchinson CDA
Lead Surgical Assistant

Maria received her Associates Degree in 1978 from Manor College, continuing with her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science at Gwynedd Mercy College. She then went on to teach Expanded Functions and Dental Assisting at Manor College.

Maria has 20 + years of dental experience in administrative and clinical aspects of dentistry. Her experience combined with a strong sense of compassion make her a valuable component to our dental team. As lead surgical assistant, Maria assists Dr. Taylor and ensures patients are comfortable and well cared for throughout their procedure.

Erika Ann Elairo
Surgical Assistant

Erika assists Dr. Taylor in all surgeries and takes care of patients at their post-operative visits.  She enjoys the dental profession; especially caring for patients and making sure their needs are met.  Erika is very enthusiastic and lends a helping hand wherever and whenever needed.

Debi Turner
Patient Care Coordinator

Debi has a degree in business and 10 years of experience in periodontics. This combination qualifies her as an expert in her field. She provides patients with prompt, efficient, personal service. Debi expresses "Commitment to our patients and exceeding their needs, that is what I take great pride in." She is married to a firefighter and has one son enrolled in the Sarasota Military Academy. She and her family understand honor and respect for every individual and this perspective is evident in her role as Patient Care Coordinator
